Dr. Jay Jones

Dr. Jay Jones grew up in Northfield, MN. After high school, he served as a Marine avionics technician and marksmanship competitor while stationed at MCAS El Toro, and Iwakuni, Japan. When the Army offered an opportunity to fly as an enlisted man, he became an enlisted co-pilot, flying scout helicopters in both Cavalry and Attack units. During his 20 year career, he served in various leadership and operational positions around the world. The peak was becoming a First Sergeant and Jump Master in the famous 82d Airborne Division. He has tours in Somalia and Afghanistan, and is a lifetime member of both the 82d Airborne Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Jay lives in Dayton with his wife (and high school sweetheart) of more than 35 years. They attend Revive Church in Brooklyn Park and enjoy camping, canoeing, running, and most things outdoors. He studied dentistry at the University of Minnesota and is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, Minneapolis District Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Jones also provides free dental care for children through the "Give Kids a Smile" program. He also volunteers with the "Minnesota Mission of Mercy" to provide free dentistry for people of all ages.
