Our Dental Hygiene Team

Kendra

Getting to know her new patients and continuing to provide exceptional care to her current patients is Kendra’s goal as a hygienist. She is definitely a ‘people person.’ Kendra is in the fourth decade of her dental hygiene career.

"As dental professionals we see people from all walks of life with many unique dental needs. This makes my job interesting and it challenges me to see the entire picture when treating our patients."

Away from the office, Kendra's time is spent with family and special friends who motivate her. Whether it be a walk in the woods, hunting, fishing, playing in the snow or wilderness adventure canoe racing. She considers the outdoors her happy place!

 Tammy

Tammy received her degree from the University of Minnesota and has worked in the dental hygiene field for 23 years. She seamlessly joined our team in 2015.

"I enjoy treating and educating patients so they can obtain optimal oral health."

Tammy enjoys being outdoors, gardening, reading and spending time with family and friends. She is married to Jared and they have three sons: Charlie, Krist and Asher.

Maddie

Maddie joined our team in February of 2023. She had previous experience as a dental receptionist where she discovered her passion – caring for patients on the clinical side of dentistry as a hygienist.

“As a kid and into adulthood, I’ve always loved getting my teeth cleaned. I know not everyone feels this way which makes it my mission to make each patient feel as warm and welcome as possible.”

In the summer Maddie enjoys disc golf as well as traditional golf with her family. In the winter she hunkers down with the family’s cocker spaniel, Molly.

Jackie

Jackie comes from a small town in central MN and is a graduate of Mankato State University. She loves meeting new people and helping them with their dental health through knowledge and coaching. In her free time Jackie loves hunting, fishing and long walks with her three grandchildren.

Jackie initially started with us in 2022 providing vacation coverage but quickly grew into a permanent position seeing patients every Monday.

 Dr. Jones’ Dental Assistants

Colleen

"Always remember your smile is the window to your soul."

Colleen became a dental assistant over 30 years ago to help people have a positive experience at the dentist and to make their smiles beautiful.

Her husband John runs a cabinet shop in Nowthen and their son Andy is a chemical engineer working on his Masters degree at the University of Minnesota.

She is currently on a running streak that began 1-1-20, meaning she has run outside every day since then! She also enjoys all the fun outdoor activities that Minnesota has to offer.

Karolyn

Karolyn has been a dental assistant for over 30 years and her love for people is evident.

"I love to be with peopleI love to talk to patients and help them feel comfortable and at ease in the dental chair." Her devotion to dentistry is due to her wish to be a positive influence on our patients.

Karolyn has 5 children, four of them are married, and 4 grandsons. She loves the outdoors, hiking and kayaking. She has climbed three 14ers (14,000 mountains) and plans to climb more.

"It makes my day when a patient, who has had a negative dental experience in the past, comes to our office and experiences a stress-free and enjoyable visit. Watching people’s dental fears disappear is very rewarding."

 Renae

In my more than 36 years as a Dental Assistant/Receptionist the one thing I enjoy most are the patients. I like spending my free time with my family and friends, especially my husband Rusty and my two daughters Merissa and Tori.

Most people know I’m not a winter person but that all changed when both of my daughters decided to play hockey. I knew nothing about hockey but grew to love the sport. Now I prefer to enjoy Spring, Summer and Fall playing golf.

I’m very grateful to be part of the exceptional team we have in our dental office.
